Importance in Public Health

The OBG & GYN Department plays a vital role in maternal and reproductive health, which is a cornerstone of public health. Reducing maternal and infant mortality, ensuring safe deliveries, and managing reproductive diseases are key to building a healthy society. The department supports family planning programs, cancer screenings, vaccination drives (e.g., HPV vaccine), and education on menstrual hygiene. Early intervention in high-risk pregnancies, prenatal counselling, and access to quality obstetric care greatly reduce complications for both mother and child. By addressing women’s health issues at every life stage, the department empowers women, improves their quality of life, and supports the health of future generations.

"We believe in healing beyond treatment — empowering you with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support at every stage of your health journey. No matter the challenge, you’re never alone. Together, we move toward a stronger, healthier future."
