The Neurology Department focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders related to the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists are medical doctors trained in understanding the complex workings of the nervous system and addressing conditions that affect cognition, movement, sensation, and coordination. With advancements in neuroscience and neuroimaging, the department plays a pivotal role in early diagnosis, treatment planning, and improving neurological outcomes. The Neurology team works closely with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation experts to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
